What should I do for basement leaks? What should I do for water damaged laminate flooring? In Construction, Repair, & Improvement -more than a month ago I own a rental condo that was flooded, directly caused by the unit above me one month ago. I have laminate flooring in my condo and you could hear the water underneath the floor as you walked- My insurance company hired a restoration company to come in and let the fans run for a couple of days but never removed the flooring. Should I replace my crown molding during my bath remodel? In Construction, Repair, & Improvement -more than a month ago I am replacing discolored drywall board and ceramic tile around my existing tub, with new cement board and ceramic tile. There is wood crown molding around the ceiling including over the tub. Should I remove all the molding, or just cut it off before the tub and extend the tile to the ceiling? ....more

Can I fix cracks in the basement foundation? In Real Estate -more than a month ago I just purchased 30 year old house, and the foundation has six cracks right from the top to the bottom. The cracks are about an 1/8 of an inch in diameter and all of the cracks leak water when it rains. Can I fix them myself or do I need a contractor? ....more
