After my insulation got wet, should I replace my ceiling? In Construction, Repair, & Improvement -more than a month ago We recently had a fire in the attic, and my contractors took 12 days to remove all of the wet insulation. They left 2 vents open in attic. Serious rain storm and had wet insulation again. Now I have water spots in 2 parts of my house. Does that part of the ceiling need to be replaced?
