  Cleaning old cabinet surface

I have oak kitchen cabinets that are 21 years old. They are in very good condition, but need a good cleaning. What do you recommend if soap and water just doesn't work?

The best way to clean your old oak cabinet surfaces would be to use a product called Paso. It is especially made to clean and refurbish fiberglass and acrylic shower and hot tub surfaces without dulling the surface. Depending on the finish coat (IE..lacquer, polyurethane), Paso may or may not dull the finish, along with removing years of grease. In any case, once the surface has been renewed, a thin coat of clear finish can easily be applied with a soft brush, if necessary.
