Purchase a set that has a carbide tip with a steel alloy shank. Avoid the cheaper bits made of soft alloys, as they will bend or warp and the tips will dull during the first usage. It is also rather important to use a drill with a 'hammer' adjustment. Your drilling will go much smoother and faster and the bits will last for many projects.
