Hardwood must be stored in a dry facility. The new floor panels will come packaged and bound and should be placed on a series of 2x4's that will create a space for the air to move, as cement floors are porous and could warp wood placed directly upon it. Be sure to place the 2x4's so that there are enough to provide support without leaving wide gaps, or the floor boards will certainly warp.
