There are some older homes out there looking for a face lift. Folks most often look for inside solutions to resolve interior issues.

Sometimes the best answer involves work which has the dual effect of enhancing interior and exterior appearance. In this case, a home which had a combined kitchen and dinning area of about 160 SF. The wall was removed, an array of large windows were installed. The trim work between them cover three support posts which buttress a robust 6"X8" joist beam  supporting the roof.

Also, the kitchen/dinning area was retiled and walls painted. Nice piece of work for an older home. A nice view too.
