Easy Shower: The Schluter Design

Here's one for the Gipper.  This Schluter shower kit comes with pan, curb and 4" X 4" stainless steel drain that is square for easy tiling

The orange membrane is glued to green drywall and overlaps walls to the pan with thinset for water proofing prior to the tiling process.  The pan and curb are made of high density styrofoam and once the membrane is attached you'll have a structure that is strong enough for ceramic or stone tile. 

This kit can be purchased for about $460.00. It's the Volkswagon of shower kits, offering quick installation. It can be purchased at Home Depo and Lowe's. Wow - leave it to the Germans :)
